In order to carry out all the projects that Kiwanis is involved with throughout the year, each member is asked to join one or more committees.

Provides and maintains club banners, flags, bells, and other accouterments used at meetings. Also acts as the liason between the club and the meeting venue staff as necessary or as designated by the President.

Pluff, Joe
Reviews expenditures and receipts. Presents fiscal recommendations to the Board of Directors. Arranges for Annual Audit. Prepares Annual Budget for presentation to the membership. Completes tasks that are identified by the Treasurer and or Board or Audit

Organizes and records visits to other clubs and to SLP clubs

Public Relations Responsible to see: that a Newsletter gets published. that the Club Web Site is updated. that the club FB page is updated. that Publicity and news releases are sent to media. that Auction live coverage invitations are sent.

Service Leadership Programs Orono-Old Town Kiwanis Club sponsors 5 Service Leadership Programs K-Kids in Old Town which is an Elementary Level club, Builders Club in Old Town which is a middle school level club, two Key Clubs which are high school level clubs one in Orono and one in Old Town, and we are very fortunate to be near a college so we are able to sponsor a college level club called Circle K at the University of Maine. This committee is charged with supporting those programs to ensure they are getting the assistan
