Service Leadership Programs

Orono-Old Town Kiwanis is extremely fortunate to sponsor 5 service leadership programs in our area. We are the proud sponsor of one K-Kids Club, one Builders Club, two Key Clubs, and one Circle K.

Old Town Elementary School K-Kids - A group of elementary school kids working hard to serve their school and community.  The kids meet every other week to brainstorm ways they can make a difference.  They plan and execute projects while learning how to lead.

Leonard Middle School Builders Club - A group of students in grades 6-8.  The students develop leadership skills as they serve their school and community.  Much like the K-Kids they too plan and carry out projects and they never fail to amaze in the work that they do.  The club meets weekly.

Old Town High School and Orono High School Key Clubs - These groups of high school students are part of the largest student led international service organization.  These students give back to their home, school, and community through service projects.  They independently plan and carry out these projects.

University of Maine Circle K - This is a group of college students.  These adults are members of an international collegiate service organization.  The club meets weekly.  They complete service projects for their schools and communities as well as contribute to national and international programs.

We are so lucky to have not one but 5 amazing groups of students who work so hard to serve.  We are very happy to be a part of growing leaders an are  an extremely proud parent organization to all of them!
