- We are a volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to serving youth through various service and fundraising projects.
- Since 1935, the Kiwanis Club of Orono-Old Town has made significant contributions to our local communities.
- We sponsor clubs for young people to provide youth the opportunity to help others, become personally involved in their community, and build a positive future for themselves. Clubs that we sponsor include:
Builders Club, at the middle school level;
Key Clubs, at the high school level, and
Circle K Club, at the Univ. of Maine, Orono

Each fall 3rd graders in six area schools receive either a dictionary or thesaurus from Orono-Old Town Kiwanis.
We are pleased to offer support for higher education to students from Orono & Old Town through annual scholarships.
Each May we sponsor a scholarship dinner, where club members can meet scholarship and celebrate the accomplishments of the scholarship recipients.
Our club meets regularly, fostering a community with lasting friendships. Our monthly meetings include speakers and/or fieldtrips that provide the opportunity for us to learn about amazing activities happening in our communities.
In late spring-summer, club members sort through donated goods preparation for our annual auction & yard sale.
