We believe in the power of community and the difference we can make when we come together.
Donation of Goods & Services
Our Annual Auction & Yard sale, provides a recycling/reuse opportunity for individuals who donate items and a bargain value for those who purchase items at our event. We’ve been able to:
- help families acquire new toys and sports equipment for their kids and visiting relatives;
- help college students furnish apartments & families furnish camps;
- provide recreation and transportation through our used bike sales;
- offer used books and antiques at a fraction of the cost found elsewhere;
- offer “inflation buster bargains” to help extend the purchasing power of the dollar and to provide a social community gathering
Every year, auction participants look forward to bidding on products or gift cards donated by area merchants.
Auction & Yard Sale donations need to be in good working condition, without missing parts. (Think, "is this something I would purchase for give to a family member to use"). Items we don't accept: mattresses & boxsprings, clothing, TV's greater than 6 years old, anything with mildew.
Supporting our Fundraisers
- Helps fund essential resources for our community projects, such as the story walk in Webster Park, senior services.
- Aids in providing support to the less fortunate members of our community, including food drives & clothing donations.
- Helps sponsor events that empower the younger generation, such as leadership training for Key Club members, scholarships for high school seniors and scholarships for recreational and educational opportunities for individuals with disabilities at Camp CaPella.
